Moving onto Rutland's fastest broadband network takes 10 working days if you are migrating from another provider, or 5 working days for new lines (or reactivating a ceased line). We will notify you in advance of the exact date of transfer. This delay is agreed by industry and Ofcom to allow you to change your mind - no provider can do it in less time.

We are also taking this opportunity to confirm you have understood the situation regarding delivery of our fast broadband service to your master telephone socket, and the implications if you do not have a master socket, or if you currently rely on an internal telephone extension for connecting your broadband router.


We also now need your bank details for direct debit payments for the service and any associated costs. The cost for residential users is £30/month for fast broadband & line rental. Business user charges please see here. Full details of additional call charges are on our home page.

The setup cost is £40.We supply you with a non-wireless router free of charge. A wireless router upgrade costs £45. You can select this along with other upgrade options in the form below. If you wish to keep your telephone number a £25 porting charge applies. Otherwise a new number is issued free of charge. We strongly advise you take the security option at £5/month before going online.

The only additional costs which may be incurred, relate to your internal wiring, or if your existing phones are not compatible with a modern dialtone service. We can provide cordless handsets if required.
