5/8/10	We are experiencing issues with a DoS (denial of service) attack. There is no compromise to the individual customer’s security. The DoS attack may be the result of the recent publicity we have received. It is causing issues with broadband speeds and packet loss. The main symptom is the inablitity of some customers to make outgoing calls. Update 12/8 Our 3rd party provider was responsible for significant delays in dealing with the issue. We are taking this up with them to help prevent a reoccurance and improve our overall level of service.	12/8/10 1930
1/7/10	1600. Some Uppingham customers experiencing short periods of outage - this is being investigated. The outage affects both phones and internet. Technical consultants are working on the problem as a priority.	3/7/10 1200

30/5/10 1510	Our 3rd party VoIP/telephone provider has known issues. They have despatched an engineer to troubleshoot. It is a major infrastructure issue with one of their Storage Area Networks. They are fully aware that all our customers are affected - unable to make outgoing calls or receive incoming calls.	30/5/10 1955

4/10/09	Further issues with some customers - incoming calls. This was again due to Gamma Telecom and specifically numbers ported from BT to Rutland Telecom as part of our LLU service.	4/10/09 17:25
2/10/09	Issues with routing some incoming calls. It has been escalated to our upstream provider, Gamma Telecom, and will be resolved as soon as possible.	3/10/09 16:45. All customers should now be able to receive incoming calls. We are awaiting an explanation from Gamma Telecom.
